A woman swimming at Kaimana Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii, was attacked and injured Sunday by a nursing monk seal, one of the most endangered seal species in the world. A local marine preservation group said there were several warnings about the nursing seal's aggressive behavior and that there was a rope perimeter on the shoreline for weeks.
